Say Hello to Our Tour Guides
Tom and Diane Ryan moved to St. Augustine in 1999, after moving around the US for many years, to settle in their "Newport of the South" and to pursue their love of St. Augustine history, the beach, and (by the way) the warm weather. Tom is a member of the St. Augustine Historical Society, the St. Augustine Lighthouse & Maritime Museum and other civic organizations.
Growing up in St. Augustine, Kelcie became involved in the history and archaeology community as a teenager. A historian by education and trade, she has been a tour guide in St. Augustine for 8 years. If forced to choose, Kelcie's favorite historic site in town is the Castillo de San Marcos.
Dale's family has lived in North Florida since the early 1700s. He has been in St. Augustine for more than 20 years. During that time, he has enjoyed sharing the history of St. Augustine as a bartender in the historic district. Dale is an avid outdoorsman; he enjoys fishing, kayaking, and hiking, as well as anything else that puts him in nature. If you want to know how to spend your time outdoors in St. Augustine, Dale is the person to ask.
